Hey everyone,

This is Daniel Leighton, and I am running for the position of President of the Terrapin Trail Club.

I have been heavily involved with the TTC ever since the beginning of my freshman year, two and a half years ago. My experience includes being a trip leader, having been the Gear Manager for a year, and having been a Co-President over the last year. This means that I have a lot of experience leading the meetings, organizing small and large trips, and fostering growth and continuity throughout the club.

And most importantly, I really love the outdoors and outdoor sports! And hey, I haven’t caused the destruction of the club yet, right? <-- (In case you don’t know me, and it doesn’t translate through the Internet well, I’m kidding!)

And of course if you have any questions for me, always feel free to ask.

Hi everyone!

My name is Nikki Green and I am running for vice president. I have been involved with the TTC for the past year and a half. I have been a trip leader for the club for the past year, leading both hiking and caving trips. I go on a TTC trip pretty much every weekend the past year and have helped plan and organize different size trips. I love everything outdoors and want to continue to have a role in a great club that helps us do anything outside College Park.

Hello! It's Olga Kuznetsova and I want to run for secretary!

I'm abroad right now in London, so if you are new this semester you haven't met me, but I have been part of the club for 3 years, and active for two of them. I LOVE the outdoors-being outside, skiing, canoeing, hiking... whatever! Outside makes me happy, and being out in nature with friends is the best. I've helped put trips together and attend pretty much all meetings in the past year (well, before this semester since I am not in the country). Last spring I was a co-treasurer. I think I will make a great secretary because I am organized, always have my laptop with me so I can readily post the notes, and am very involved in the club, so I like to always know what is going on.

Hey everybody!

I’m Dominique, and I am running for secretary. I have been an active member of TTC since the beginning of this semester, and although that may make me seem like a newbie, I already love being a part of the club! I think it’s really important for students – and everyone interested in the outdoors – to have the means of getting outside to have fun and try new activities, or ones they already enjoy.

In that respect, I would like to become more involved in helping TTC continue to provide those awesome opportunities. I’m organized and responsible, I attend almost every meeting, and I’m already very dedicated to the club. I think I could do a great job as TTC’s secretary.

Hey everyone,

We are Katrina&Dave and we are running for co-treasurer. We just started being really active in the club this semester and are really excited about contributing and making sure new members are on track. We want to continue the new series of day trips that our previous co-treasurers started this semester. Also, we want to help bring back some of the club favorites, like the ski trip.
